Preparing
for renting your Crystal
Air ozone generator
|
Please do the following prior to
renting to prepare for your deodorizing job.
|

|
|
1, Remove all people, and pets. Also
please make sure to inform any other family members, trades people, or
anyone else who has access to the building that they are not to enter
until after it has been cleared. No people or pets are allowed in the
area being treated until the certified Crystal Air service technician
has tested the ozone levels and certified it to be below 0.05ppm and
safe to re enter, or it is past the time & date noted on the warning
signs. ***If the house MUST be entered before the treatment
is done for some reason, please contact Crystal Air immediately at the
number on the warning signs posted on the doors or on the invoice. |

2, Remove all plants. Plants can be
damaged or even killed by the ozone treatment. |
|
|
|
3, Remove any sensitive & irreplaceable valuables
such as old oil paintings, silver jewelry, etc.. True rubber is damaged
very fast by ozone. Belts on CD players and CD rom drives may be
damaged. These items can be removed or "bagged" and sealed to stop the
ozone damage (removal is preferred). |

4, Turn off the water lines to your
clothes washing machine. If the water hoses are cracked or
compromised please replace them before turning the taps on again. |
|
|
|
5, Remove and discard any area rugs, furniture,
cloths, etc. that is of little value and is destined to go to the dump
anyway. Any items in the room that have a problem such as mold or a
simple bad odor will increase the work and reduce the effectiveness of
the ozone treatment. |

|
|
6, Lift items off the floor, etc..
Mattresses or other items such as couch cushions and area rugs that you
would like to have treated need
to be lifted and hung or set to stand on end so the ozone can get to all
surfaces. Clothing can be hung in a closet with the closet door
open. Any furniture that is on the floor and stops air movement under it
will also stop the treatment from doing it's job on that part of the
floor. Lift these items if possible. Cloths in closets should be spread
apart as best possible to allow the ozone to circulate through all the
hanging cloths, leave closet doors wide open and open dresser drawers. |
